That evening, the conductor achieved something extraordinary: the audience said that a performance of such a high level can be heard extremely rarely. [...] His gestures created a special vividness of phrasing. The performance was characterized by bringing out subtle nuances, meticulous sensitivity to the color of the sound, which resulted in the imagery of the music. Kozlovsky's involvement during his work with the orchestra was noticed by everyone - musicians and listeners. [...] [In Verklärte Nacht] Kozlovsky proposed an interpretation for which a verbal text was unnecessary - the listener, without knowing the plot, could be captivated by the freedom and poetry of images. Music clearly developed according to its own hidden logic.

Through the harmonized sound of dynamic nuances, rounded cadence turns, lightness and flexibility of the orchestra on the way to the climaxes, the piece achieved its charming, insightful and bright ending.
